Crown Prince Visits a Model Farm in Mafraq and Reviews Its Experience in Employing Modern Technologies

Al-Taj News – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Deputy of His Majesty the King, visited Al-Zبن Model Farms in Mafraq Governorate today, Tuesday.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince reviewed the farm’s experience in employing scientific research and modern agricultural technologies to improve production quality and rationalize water consumption.

During a tour of the farm, His Royal Highness listened to an explanation from its owner, Engineer Abdullah Al-Zبن, about the farm’s products, which extend over more than 1,300 dunums, produce approximately 250 varieties of fruit, use modern irrigation systems and methods to reduce water evaporation, and include research and development, packaging, and storage facilities.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince praised the level of agricultural production, which reflects the ability of Jordanian expertise to develop advanced agricultural methods, pointing to the importance of generalizing successful experiences in water resource management and enhancing local production.

His Royal Highness affirmed the importance of ensuring the sustainable supply of agricultural products to the local market at the best quality.
